Casa Amy is very unusual for Lanzarote in that it is not a new building, but rather is a very tasteful conversion from an old stable – offering character and comfort as well as all modern conveniences. Handily located in the exclusive Los Mojones area of Puerto del Carmen, just 10 min walk uphill from the beaches and resort centre, Casa Amy has a mature private walled garden, private pool (8m x 4m, depth 1.1m to 1.4m with ladder, heated in winter) and many interesting features, as well as lots of charm. The layout of this very pretty, atmospheric villa makes it particularly suitable for couples wanting privacy and style in a convenient location.
Car hire is not essential here, but is recommended if you want to explore more of the island. The area is also very convenient for visiting Timanfaya National Park, the beautiful, unspoiled Papagayo beaches, Teguise golf course or discovering the many facets of Lanzarote.
One storey. A gate leads through the high surrounding walls into the spacious, mature garden, pool and sun terraces. A long shaded dining veranda with BBQ stretches along one side of the house. In the main house is a cosy lounge/dining room with beamed ceilings, satellite TV, DVD and CD player. Open plan kitchen with fridge, full cooker and microwave. One double bedroom with ensuite shower/WC. A further double, shower/WC and washing machine are reached through a separate door along the veranda. Free safe.
Twice weekly cleaning and weekly linen change. Pool heating included Nov - Apr, £12 per day if required between May - Oct. Minimum stay 7 nights, arrive any day.
Linen: Included with towels. A chargeable welcome hamper is available, and can be ordered when booking.
